Prior to starting Destined To Be Great with her mom, Bernice Johnson Taylor, Johnson spent nearly 17 years in Corporate America building her career with several top Fortune 500 companies including Church & Dwight, L’Oreal, Revlon and Reckitt Benckiser. Johnson has a proven track record of building some of the most recognizable brands such as Lysol, Excellence Hair color, Nair, and OxiClean just to name a few. In addition to her corporate experience, she also developed a successful direct selling business part-time as an Executive Leader with Warm Spirit, a self-care and wellness company, leading a network of over 300 distributors spanning 11 states.

Although realizing great success in her corporate career and direct selling business, Johnson still knew she wasn't walking in her purpose quite yet. After nearly a 2 year personal development deep dive, she finally realized her passion was helping women reach their greatest potential in life and business. It was through this personal journey that Destined To Be Great was born.

Johnson received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and her Masters of Business Administration degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Johnson received her Professional Coaching certification, as well as her Energy Leadership certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (www.ipeccoaching.com). Johnson is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the American Marketing Association, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). She is also a Vice President Representative, Presidential Ambassador and Coach with Compass, a personal development company for women, where she leads a network of over 270 representatives and serves on the company's Leadership council.

Johnson is a featured author in two new books launching in 2012: Wealthy Direct Sales Women and Leadership: Helping Others To Success.

In her spare time, Johnson enjoys volunteering with the National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc., the largest winter sports organization in the country, where she currently serves as Executive Vice President.She is also an avid skier, certified professional ski instructor and assistant youth race coach.
